NORFOLK, Va., October 6, 2026 – XKIG, a national leader in critical infrastructure services for the power and gas utility sectors, announced the acquisition of ClearPath Solutions Group, a consulting firm providing strategic advisory, operational support, emergency management, government relations, and infrastructure support services. ClearPath will operate as part of XKIG’s Canopy Infrastructure Solutions.
The acquisition expands XKIG’s ability to support customers and communities across the full lifecycle of infrastructure preparedness, response, and recovery. ClearPath brings expertise in debris management and removal, heavy civil construction, disaster recovery contracting, emergency management, public works and infrastructure support, and other specialized contracting services.
