Better Field Training for Today’s Infrastructure Workforce

Drawing on adult learning theory and the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) instructional design framework, the article shows how mobile learning, microlearning, coaching, and problem-based instruction can improve engagement while supporting safety, productivity, and operational performance.
